Jer and I spent the weekend in Chicago as the boys spent theirs with my parents. We had Jer's holiday party (yes, in March) on Friday and then spent the rest of the weekend relaxing and exploring the city. Saturday was beautiful and we attempted to go to the Art Institute and then the Field Museum, both were packed so we just walked along the lake and around Millennium Park. We ended the day at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, attempting to refuel my iron stores!
The boys (& my parents) seemed to have had a wonderful weekend together, too. I heard stories of snowmobiling, sledding, playing games, making cookies and many other fun things. Griffin got in on the fun and came home beat from all the fresh air and running. (Thanks Mom & Dad!)
