Isn't it a glorious day?!

This is what Walter said to me this evening as we were biking home from Hove Park. I'm not sure how he's survived this long as he is so totally edible.

He was also spot on. It was an absolutely beautiful day...weekend in fact. We spent 80% of our waking hours outside today, leading to us all getting sun burnt! Yes, you read that right, sun burnt, in March! We all have a glisten to our faces right now as we are slathered in aloe and eucerin.

The morning was spent walking through Stamner Park on the annual Spring Walk. The boys were in, out, up and down trees with their friends stripping off layers along the way. We had a picnic in the park before coming home for a few minutes.

After being indoors for half an hour we felt it was such a waste and packed up the slack line, hopped on our bikes and met a friend in the park for more sunshine and smiles.

We ended the night with haircuts ala mom and curry ala dad. What a glorious day indeed.
