Should we do a project?

Owen is getting into art these days. I had our art room all organized and then when we got our new furniture in the basement it got out of control. I'm finally getting it back into a workable space and Owen is loving it. After lunch he's been having 'art time' while I get Walter down for his nap and clean up the kitchen. He's made countless drawings with a variety of media, made a safari hat, paper airplanes and egg carton caterpillars. Any other project suggestions?

We had a lovely summer day today. Jer & Owen got up early and went to help a friend move while Walter and I ran an errand and enjoyed some time alone at home. This afternoon we took a bike ride over to a pool/playground where Owen tested out his new goggles. We all played on the playground after and had a picnic dinner. We took the long route home and somehow were going against the wind the entire time. I'm sure glad Jer pulls the boys now. We (well, Jer) follow the Tour de France, which is happening now. Tomorrow they have their first mountain day, I don't know how they do it.

Jer gave the boys a bath tonight, complete with water balloons. Owen got to throw his outside after (it took about 5 tosses before it broke).

Glad you're getting to use your art room, Owen. I was thinking of glueing some sand +/or glitter to paper for a picture; or maybe a stick man with pipe cleaner clothes, acorns for shoes or anything like that. Look around the lake or the magical triangle - nature has lots of surprizes! What fun with art! How did tee ball go tonight? We got a handful of strawberries from our garden today & the water is warming up for you & Walter to swim next month. Keep blogging, Tricia - such memories of innocence; always think one will remember such comments, etc. but we don't, can't put a price on stuff like this, the blog is great being so far away.
